HEALTHCARE
The effects of HIV on women, especially in Africa, are highly underestimated. AIDS continues to affect the education sector as well, with children dropping out of school to take care of an ailing family member or to work.
DISCRIMINATION & ABUSE
Violence against women and children is a human rights violation and public health epidemic. We need to do what we can to support the activists and advocacy groups who work tirelessly to assist victims and survivors of GBV in SA.
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
BeCoCo supports its members to identify and take collective action on issues which affect them , empowering them to create a more connected society and building capacity for the improvement of their communities.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
The BeCoCo Fellows programme is an example of the various student support programme that our organization supports. Through education we can change our mindset and go from a fixed mindset to a growth mindset which leads to an improved quality of life.
FAITH BASED SUPPORT
BeCoCo strives to be an honest, efficient channel enabling the church to minister to physical and spiritual needs around the world. The basic function of the church is to be involved in every facet of the life of the believer and the believer is part of a community.
POVERTY ALLEVIATION
Progressively developing social protection systems to support those who cannot support themselves.
