The Reverend Kelvin Sauls was born and raised in the townships of Kliptown and Eldorado Park on the southside of Johannesburg in the Republic of South Africa. His Pastoral and Executive ministry with the United Methodist Church involved strategies in congregational and community development in the California cities of San Francisco, Oakland and Los Angeles, Nashville, Tennessee and New York City. During his tenure in these appointments he organized innovative community partners with philanthropic, government, grassroots, educational, health, business and interfaith organizations that resulted in the construction of housing, development of violence prevention strategies, preventative health initiatives and services with the homeless.
