The vision of these Teams is to provide comprehensive health programmes that aims to provide access to quality healthcare for our community and provide health screenings, that identify health barriers and provide on-site treatment when required. Additionally, our aim is to start with a mobile clinic, that will soon be equipped and can be adapted to suit the needs of each patient and ensuring flexible and adaptable service delivery on site.
Our program is driven by public and private partnerships that will enable us to identify health barriers and provide early intervention. Our scalable projects are execution-driven and our focus will be on delivering positive outcomes that showcase the impact on the community.
We thank the community of Naturena for their proactive involvement in advocating for access to primary healthcare services directly to the community. Armed with the necessary data, we organized and mobilized with healthcare workers and other concerned residents for a Mobile Health Clinic to provide vital services to all residents in need of healthcare in Naturena. Thanks to the Councilor Thobile Zondo and Ward Committee Member Paris Makaringe for Health and Social Development for Ward 119, MMC for Health and Social Development- Ennie Makafula and PR Councilor Jonas Masethla.
The Mobile Health Clinic initiative was launched on 06 July, 2023. The Mobile Health Clinic will be Stationed at Naturena Ext19 KABC (Kingdom Authority Bible Church) on Hamilton Street, Open Space every Thursday for a full day and Friday for a half day. The purpose of this essential healthcare service is to enhance access to healthcare services by providing limited medical services to community members, focusing on primary healthcare needs. It is important to note that due to its mobile nature, the services offered will be restricted. [ see rules clearly outlined below].
On the first full day of the Mobile Community Health, we had 60. On the second half-day of community healthcare services, we had 30 patients. It is through the collaborative non-partisan efforts of community members and healthcare providers that we can work towards improving the overall health and well-being of everyone in Naturena. Access to quality healthcare services is a basic human right. We challenge and effort to politicize providing basic services our community need and deserve!
As a nonpartisan organization, Naturena Foundation Clinic Team, are committed towards organizing and mobilizing quality healthcare services for ALL residents in our promotion of vitality, not partisan votes. Justice for everyone, not just jobs for a few will remain our focus.
